Jennette’s Pier

Jennette’s Pier was the first fishing pier in North Carolina, located in the Outer Banks. Though it was plagued with destruction by natural disasters, the community continued to rebuild each time it was destroyed. Upon its last destruction in 2003, the pier was acquired by North Carolina Aquariums. They, in turn, underwent the ambitious endeavor to rebuild Jennette’s Pier as a LEED-certified, state-of-the-art pier designed by BMH Architects. Our team at A. Brothers Associates created the signage and exhibit panels throughout the pier and pier-house aquarium.
